Mango Frozen Yogurt recipe

Well Summer is almost gone but I am still on an ice cream state of mind.

I got a few huge mangoes a couple weeks ago and just yesterday I noticed they were on their prime time so I for sure NEEDED to do some frozen yogurt with them. This recipe needs NO cooking, right, there is no stove involved here.

Also, you know I always try to incorporate protein in every little thing I do, and desserts are not the exception. The protein I’m adding today is in the form of Collagen Peptides, collagen has many benefits for your including skin health improvement, joint pain relieve and others.


  • 3 big and ripe mangoes. This is about 4 cups.

  • 1 qt of coconut yogurt.

  • 1 tbsp agave or maple syrup. You can skip this sugar if your mangoes are sweet enough.

  • 3 scoops of Collagen Peptides. I’m using VITAL PROTEIN which is a brand I love. THIS IS NOT AN AD hahaha but it should be U_U.


  1. Blend all of the ingredients until very smooth and transfer into a deli container. Chill overnight or for at least two hours.

  2. Follow the steps of your ice cream machine. I churned for 25 minutes and it came out AMAZING.

The texture of this frozen yogurt is to die for, silky smooth and you’ll love it. You can totally substitute this fruit for some others with similar texture like kiwi or banana.
