How to make Shishito Peppers

Hey guys!

Hope you’re doing awesomely good! I was just going through my pictures and found out I never shared one of my favorite side dishes of all time! Shishito Peppers! The little green pieces of heaven are ones you can use almost for everything but this time I’m just going to blister them, season them and add some oil.


Without further ado, this is what you need!


  • 1 lb. of shishito peppers.

  • 2 tbsp of olive oil.

  • 1/2 tsp of pink salt.

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper.

  • 1 tbsp white truffle oil. Yeah yeah, all that, I like it ok?! :) Also, you can use extra virgin olive oil instead as well.

  • Parmesan cheese to taste.


  1. In a large pan and medium heat add the olive oil. Once oil is hot, add shishitto peppers and move them occasionally for about 5 minutes.

  2. Once they look cooked, season with salt and pepper and cover the pan with a lid in low heat for another 3-5 minutes.

  3. Place all the shishitto peppers in a large plate, drizzle the white truffle oil and some Parmesan cheese on top. Remember, when it comes to Parmesan cheese, the more the better! Hahaha

These peppers are great for any seafood dish, by the self on a Netflix night and even inside a sandwich! Nom nom nom!
